Frequently asked questions.
What’s your wedding photography style?
My photography style is relaxed and natural, known as candid or documentary-style photography. I blend into your wedding to capture the moments you'll cherish forever—most of them completely unposed, like a ninja with a camera!
I make sure group and couple photos happen too, but I keep them quick so you can enjoy your day with your guests. If you're camera shy, this approach is perfect. I also love vibrant colours, so you won't find any faded photos here! Check out my wedding gallery to see my work in action.

Do you edit photos?
Yes, I do edit photos, but not in the way you might think.
I focus on keeping bridal, newlywed, and guest photos as real and natural as possible, while adding my bold, colourful style. I don’t Photoshop faces or figures unless necessary (like a bride having a big pimple on their nose).
I edit the overall look of my photos to fit my style, and if you like what you see, I’m the photographer for you! If my style isn’t your vibe, I won’t be offended if you choose someone else — I don’t change my style based on client tastes. If you don’t like my style, I encourage you to find a different photographer whose style you do like.
What do you wear to weddings?
I’m happy to take into consideration my clients’ preferences. Welsh weather is notoriously unpredictable, so I also take that into consideration!
No matter what the weather decides, I’ll be wearing comfortable footwear, which helps a lot if you need someone to run somewhere for something quickly! I’ll always dress in a tidy way – think smart/casual, and won’t spoil the aesthetic of your beautiful day. If you have a preference over how I dress on the day, just let me know.
Which areas of South Wales do you cover?
I’m happy to travel to anywhere in South Wales – from Chepstow and Monmouth to Swansea and Brecon. I’m also happy to travel within about 3 hours of Cardiff. To give you a better idea, this includes Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Shropshire.
If the event I’m photographing is more than 1 hour away, I may need to stay overnight at a hotel which will be an additional charge, and additional travel costs will apply (no charge for 40 miles, then 45p a mile).
If your wedding is further away and you’re wondering about travel costs, get in touch via my contact page!
How did you start out as a wedding photographer in Cardiff?
I was lucky enough to photograph my uncle’s wedding in North Wales. I’d decided to stop drinking to help me feel better in myself, and photographing the wedding gave me something else to do while everyone else around me let their hair down. I absolutely fell in love with it – photographing the wedding that is! I didn’t mind being sober, which is something I didn’t think would happen. I woke up the next day happy and clear headed, and excited to start editing the photos I’d taken the day before.
I started putting my work and business out on social media, built a website and got myself a mentor through Business Wales. My business has been steadily growing since!
